"no Jessica, there was nothing you could have done Jessica, get it out of your head, and just accept it, and look at how beautiful everything is now, that the seal is stronger, everything becomes greener and more lush again, do you see". He took a leav, and tickled her belly with it.

She gave a small sigh of pure grief...she was powerless....and she still is....
"So....I am the same then...than now..? I could not stop you....now you cannot see your family...or you home...I could not save myself....My friends.....I...I am weak and hopeless...."

"your not Hopeless Jessica".He looks at her, and hold her like a child."Your a good being, powerfull to, not week, I am strong in my spirit, and so are you".He looks at her, and smiles and licks her lips.

Jessica gave a small smile....but she was still sad in her heart..
"Thank you but.....I...still feel empty.....I dont know why I cannot help anyone now....I try but....I find myself in need.....and powerless the same....I am empty by this point....and....I...I"

She noticed her tears were now falling on her like rain....and her own mind made the thunderstorms....

And he looked at her, and smiled."Your good Jessica, come I wanted this to be a joyful ride, not a depressive". he gave her a swat on her rear, and smiled."Your grown now, so I know its hard to loose them we love, but we will see them again to, when our time is up Jessica, and that will hopefully not be yeath".

Jessica gave a small huff....she was not in the mood for that.
"Cafal...not now...please..."
She then moved herself to the ground and brought her knees to her chest....and sat there...thinking hard....and long...
"I am sorry....I am...I'm just trying to let go....but...I cant..."

"Then dont, its what makes you you, you know Jessica, your special to me, I am glad to have you here with me, until I meet my real family, your the closest I come to meet family Jessica".

Jessica gave a small sigh....but then looked up with a small grin on her face.
"Yeah...I guess so...."
Though there were no words there that meant much....it made her feel a little better. She then stood....and tried to wipe both oncoming and present tears....somthing that she was not able to wipe away easily.

And Cafal took her waist, and pulled her towards him, and he licked her tears away."Quite salty dont you think". He giggled, and blinked at Jessica.

Jessica gave a small laugh...which was a mix of crying and laughter....and finally gave a small sigh....letting herself relax a little.
"Thanks....Though...I know that I might not ever forgive myself....I am lucky to say that I know that I am forgiven by someone else..."

And he looks at her and blinks, and then smiles." I took us somthing to eat to, its cooked and everything".He took some spicy meet.

Jessica sat down on a small shore line of a lake that was nearby...and sat out there looking out at the water skipping rocks...her hair covered her face...but hidden under it was a smile....

"Thank you very much Cafal......"

And he smiled back at her."Its ok Jessica".He said and gave her a tender kiss, and then moved away, to let her eat and think in peace, when he ate his posion, of the meet, and looked at her and smiled.

She gave a warm smile...and small giggle left her mouth...
"Well...I guess i should have seen that coming...but thanks...."
She then began to bite into the meat...and she was shocked....it was really good...very good...
She then to bury her face into it....forgetting how hungry she really was.
She ate the entire thing in a few minutes...and pulled her face out with some of the sauce right on the tip of her nose and all over her mouth...
She swallowed and gave a short laugh...

And he giggled, and looked at her, and came over to her, and licked the nose and face."Oh how messy you are Jessica".He snikerd, and petted her hair, and smiled at her, and gave her a hug." I am glad just the way you are".

Jessica gave a short smile and hugged him back.
"Thank you...."

And he smiled."So I see your feeling better now".He smiled at her, and nooded."You have just been hungry and all".

She gave a small giggle as she looked back up at him. She had a slight sad face again.
"No...it was not because I am hungry Cafal. Thought you would know that."

"I know, I know, I am only trying to cheer you a bit up Jessica". And then he jumped on her, and tickled her stomack, and giggled.

Jessica gave a small laugh as he tickled her. She then took hands to make him stop. But she was still laughing a little after she did.....and just found herself staring into his eyes....

And he stared right back into her eyes, with his sky blue eyes." Oh how beautiful eyes you have Jessica".He said and smiled at her, and licked her lip.

Jessica gave a small shiver...and closed her eyes...breaking the stare.
"I have a quick question....before something happens we might regret...what am I to you?"

"What are you to me". He looked at her, and thinked for a long time."You are my light Jessica, in this dark path, your the light in the end".He looked at her."Your the one who keeps me sane, after all that I had to do".

Jessica gave a small smile...and placed a hand on his face.
"Thank you....that does mean alot. But, do you find it odd that I a Mother/father figure...to do this toward my son...and...alot older?
She had a small smile...and a raised brow as well as a small laugh.
