Malty's Inn

Malty was simply sitting and Speaking to Nergal....about simple things...life, gifts, what they may have gotten, what they got each other.

But Alana and Helena were both doing somthing very diffrent....they sat staring at Malty.
Malty could simply feel their eyes on him as he turned to look at them....he gave a nervous but confused look at them.

"Umm....what?"

It too the two girls a couple of seconds before they answered...they both shook their heads to break the stare.
"It is your fur...it is whitew as snow. What happened to the pelt you had before?" Malty actually looked down at himself...thinking that his fur would have changed since he had just gotten back into the inn.

"I really dont know....I simply stepped into the snow and my fur changed colors...I thought they would have changed back by now." MAlty then saw his fur begin to change back....it was based off of his memory. Whatever his fur turned ino it can be changed back.

The kids ere having a blast With Nergal. Nallid actully took hold of Nergal's ears. But they were very curious about Valey......what was she hiding? Regina was sitting still and pretty but now.....she was jumping on the kids as well as Nergal....all four of them were acting like the world was their little toybox.

And Nergal Laughted, and was rolling about, in his grown up wolfform, and then he played horse, while Nallid was on his back, he bucked, to try to get Nallid of, and stood on his backlegs, and then jumped up and down, and smiled, and looked after Nallid, who was smiling all over his face.

(Ummm....Nallid's a girl. Dillan is a boy. LOL. Sorry I did not clear that up sooner.)

Valey was sitting in the doorway watching the group. It looked,to her, like a family with their relatives. All were having so much fun together. But Valey knew it would not last long. She went back inside with a funny sad feeling.

"Valey....are you alright?" Chrystal was preping the food. As well as the gift Nergal and the others.
"no I am fine....I am just trying to wonder how things will go. I would really want to adopt the two kids....but. I done want to take all of the orphans away." Valey though she smiled....her ears and her spirits were down.

But the meal was finally done as Chrystal and Valey both began to set the plates and chairs....this will be the biggest christmas MAlty and Valey would have...they had about 10 people to feed. The inns staff was out due for it being almost christmas...Valey felt a warm rush....she was beginning to lose her sadness.....it was christmas....what more should she want?

"You done in there!?" Alana and Regina both yelled this....they were getting excited.

"Almost!! Just keep your clothes on Regina...and be patient Alana."

And Nergal almost fell to the floor, when Valey said this, he culdent hold it much longer."Yeah just keep your cloths on, so I dont fall dead on the floor, by bloodloss becurse all of it has come to somewere else Regina, that wuldent be a good thing".He laughted hard,at this, he saw the expresion on Regina´s face, and gulped, and was about to turn around, and run, but felt a hard tugg on his tail.

Regina was closer than he thought she simply pulled him in. She twirled him around so that she was nose to nose with him. But she did not give him any kind of glare....she had a smile.
Malty and the kids both looked at her with total confusion...
""Nergal....there are kids here dont say that....we will do that later when they are asleep."
She playfully slapped Nergal with her tail. Alana and Helena both looked at Regina with jaws on the ground.
"Did she really..."
"Yup....she did."

And Nergal smiled all over his face, but what did she mean, would she maid or punish him later, he tought and blushed, and licked her lips, and tugger her tail whit his."I will love to do that later".Said Nergal, whit a macho voice, and looked at Regina, he just hadent any mustach, so it dident realy work.

Valey heard their voices and gawked at the two of them.
Regina then had a rush of complete humiliation and embarassment...she just did this in front of a group of kids....
She tried to smile her thoughts and her actions away.
But did not do as well as she thought it would. She just turned red and went form total humiliation to anger. She gave a sharpe glare to everyone in the room.....every person and wolf shut up and smiled a grin smile.

Valey was the last to feel or see Regina....but Regina's face softened when she went to Valey. Smiled and left the kitchen....with a pair of confused cooks alone in the kitchen.

"Well....I guess we will never know what had just happened huh?" Valey shrugged her shoulders and coughed a little....smoke and hickery filled her lungs...
"I guess not....well bring to guys in here....we are done."

Chrystal hit the bell and the group began to move in....the room looked like it shoould have belonged in a 5 star restraunt. And there was a giant silver plate....covered with a silver pan....sat in the middle of the table....Helena knew exactly what it was....it was her favorite thing to eat when Cassndra cooked for her.

Helena walked next to Valey and whipered in her ear."Is that what I think it is?"

Valey gave a small nod. Helena wipped her mouth...she began to drool a little.

And Nergal saw Regina, and smiled back and blinked at her, so she blushed even more, and he chuckled deeply, and looked after her, and then he sat politly at the table, in his ordinary form, that he had used the first time he came here, and he looked about, he tought, what shall I give the other´s, and he had little gifts, and looked at Malty, he was most exited for his present, and culdent wait to be finished, and looked at the table.

Valey then stood in front of the table....and gave a great grin to Nergal.
"Well...since this is the biggest thing I have every made with a little help with Chrystal. I would like for the one standing behind Nergal....to give Nergal his gift before time runs out.

Valey then looked a little ways above Nergal and gave a nod...

Nergal....you can turn around now... NightRain...she was finally out....or had the ability to be out of Valey...she stood right behind Nergal...with a brod grin.

And Nergal smiled."Momy I am so glad to see you".Then he saw the trey, and he smiled."Is that for me".He looked at it hungrely." Is that duck, and brown potatos and everything, that I smell there mom". His mouth was watering."Is that to us all ofcurse hm, were have you hunted that duck at NightRain".He looked at his mom." Or have you bought it in the store".He looked at her, and smiled."I am so glad to see you,I see dad is not out". Nergal said whit a smile.

NightRain gave a pat to his head....but she had a sad heart.
I cant be out for long...Every moment I am out...Rolego...he grows weak. He has been training ever since the first time he tried...and he has gotten alot better. She looked up to see if Valey was still standing....she was but sitting down....and breathing pretty hard. But she had a great smile....she was happy to do this Fr Nergal.....even if it was a painful thing to do.

Well everyone....lets see what Valey had made.. Valey caught her breath and stood....and lifted the siver plate......it was a full middle aged pig.....a full hog!!! Covered with Valey's secret sacue and brown sugar....cooked so well....that the skin of the hog was a llight brown and it looked almost golden....the meat was falling off the bone.....it looked like it was as fresh as a person could get.

"It took a while...*Yawn*.....But...I got finished....Now Eat up!! We have a celebation that needs to be celebrated!!!"

And Nergal looks at the hogg."That is werry nice Valey".Says Nergal, and looks at the hogg, he had eaten his duck, and ate some of the hogg to." Hm now I am full, is it ok if I sit in one of those leater chair´s there, in the living roomn, while I wait for you".And he walked over to Valey, and licked her lips."Thanks mom". and he licked Nightrain to."Thanks".

Valey smiled as she patted Nergal on the head as he walked past. Valey was about to go to sleep.
Regina , Helena, Malty, Alana, and the two kids....tore into the hog...there was only the half of the hog left.

Valey and NightRain both sat together....talking about Nergal...and how he has been. Though they both knew what the answer to both of their questions....talking to one another made the other feel a little bit more comfy.

The group was then finally finished with the meal and all....were stuffed as a turkey on thanksgiving.

Valey and NightRain were giggling at everyone....as well as themselves....they both grew very tired.

"Lets go to the tree!!! It is almost Chrstmas eve!!"

The two kids began to drag everyone to Nergal...and into the den.

There sat a mountain on boxes and presants....Most of them for the kids. Though there was still alot for the girls and Nergal...MAlty as well.

Malty looked at the box Nergal gave him....he really wanted to open it.....but he waited.

And Nergal smiled at the kids, he wondred still who these parents would be, and he looked at them, and smiled, and looked at Malty, and giggled, and then he looked at his mom, and then he looked at them all, then not last after Regina, and gave her a slap on the butt, while noone saw, and smiled:" naughty girl".He whisperd into Regina´s ear, and licked her nose.

Regina gave a small slap to Nergal's face and smiled back.
"Not in front of the kids. It is chrstmas eve.....dont do anything stupid....especially since your mom can do somthing about it now."

She opened a gift given from Valey....It was a Dimamond necklace....it was very bright and exsubrant....as well as very pricy..Folor wont be to happy.



Regina could not believe what she held in her hands....she gave a look at Valey but she was out cold on the shoulder of MAlty...NightRain was still up and about. Regina whispered something in the ear of Night and Night gave a nod with a smile...."ok I will tell"

Alana and Helena then opened theirs....it was the same thing.....they all put them on each other.....Then Night walked to Nergal....she held a small box....

Here...May not be the best thing....but it was the thing I wanted to get you.

In the box containd a small airloom. It was a pair of earings.....wore by Hellfire. Since Hellfire knew he would not be wanted out....he gave these to his son....he could not be happier.

And Nergal smiled all over his face, and looked at Night."Thanks mom".He gave her a big kiss, and long one to, and held her tight, and looked into her eyes."I am so glad for these".And he put them on, and looked at Night."How do I look whit these mom, do they fit me as well as Hellfire hm, what do you think mom hm, you have seen these rings on him, how do they fit".

Night gave a small laugh at Nergal's kidish personality....but held his face in her hands.
They look perfect. And gave a long kiss to Nergal's forehead.
Night opened her eyes for a moment to see this....smiled....and looked at Malty.
Valey then looked at the kids. They got the things they wanted....and they both ran At Valey....though very weak she gave them both nice and long hugs....she felt every tired....but very warm. Then as she realesed them.....slightly reluctantly.

Night saw this and walked to Valey. She knelt down and gave a soft smile.
Want me back? Vakey gave a small smile and shook her head. "No....spend so time with your son.....he has not seen you in a long time.
Night smiled even greater as tears began to well up.....Thank you.....

Just as she said this Malty was fiddling around with Nergal's box.....Malty had opened all of his other gifts...but he was guenunely curious about the box.......he grunted whined...he wanted to open it....but at the same time he did not......

And Nergal smiled."Do you want to Open it Malty". Nergal asked, and looked at Malty."I did that when you was mad at me, I needed you mad at me, so I could take your toughts anywere, From my room, and my doing, but you can open it now, I have done it personly to you my friend".And he looked at Malty, whit an exited smile."I hope you´ll like it Malty, its somthing you can use every christmassis Malty".And he looked at him whit Exiting eyes."Open it".

Malty slowly began to unwrap the paper. He was both excited and very suspisious.
But when he opened the rest of the wrapper....the room seemed to have glowed.....his eyes twickled at the sight of the star....solid gold....and radiant....so bright it seemed if you have touched it you would be burned.

Valey was awaken and looked in a tirsome awe....
"wow.....Malty......it looks beautiful....why dont you place it on yourself....."
Valey tok the star and plced it on the stone given to him on his Birthday...the two seemed to have molded together....MAlty looked up at Nergal with a straight face but then ran tackled him.

And began to lick all over Nergal's face.

And Nergal giggled." are you shure, your to women Malty, becurse I am male". Giggled Nergal, and tried to move away from Malty´s licking, and looked at him. "Thanks for saying thanks, in a werry slobering way Malty".And he looked at Malty, and giggled, and turned around, he dident like all the licking on his face, and smiled for himself.

Malty wore the star almost like it was a medal.He felt very proud of having it. Helena bent down and took it in her hands....it hade some weight to it.
"Wow....this weighs almost 10 pounds. What a thing to find Nergal....where did you find it?"

"as I said, I did not find it, I made it whit my own hands, if you look into the middle, you´ll see somthing there to, if you look hard".

Malty and the others looked deep into the star.,....at first....all they could see was gold.
But then.....something began to show.....it glistened....and it seemed clear.....but it was so hidden MAlty could not tell....nor the others....Night looked hard as well....it looked like something she had seen before.....but did not know what it was....

Malty then began to see.....but did not know its name.....he did know it....but he could not put his paw on it.....he sat thinking....agian...

"its you Malty, or say its a medal of you inside there to, do you see, blue eyes looking at you, as you look at me now Malty". And he looked at Malty, and smiled. "Did it by cuting it in, dosent it look good Malty".

Malty did not have the words to say how happy he was.....he made a few whines. His ears also dropped as well.

"I...I...." He could not say. But instead of doing that....he reached in the pile of gifts and pulled out a fairly large box...it was wrapped in green and red wrappings.....also....it had a very ackward figure to it.

He walked over and laid the box down in front of him...what it contained was something very peresious.

It was an alter.....an alter that made of stone and gold....and hovering in the middle sat a clear and misty light.
And when touched....it turnes color and takes the form of its user....doing as it is told....like a little pet....that does not need to be feed.
"there,,,,open" Malty sat straight as an arrow."It may not be completly yours....bur I will let you use it....it is still mine." Malty shot a proud grin....Night and Valey did the same....Valey was now leaning on Night's shoulder.....on the verge of falling asleep.
